Today, I released an update to GPSTrack, my privacy-focused GPS tracking app. It is available on the App Store.
- New Features:
- Allow copying location from annotations on the map
- Track Search: Allow saved searches to contain map region filters
- Improvements:
- Track Search: Show image of map region for region filter
- Track Search: Hide archived tags by default
- Add descriptive label to Direction Format setting
- Add confirmation when removing all tracks from the map
- Performance improvements, and other behind-the-scenes updates for upcoming features.
- Bug Fixes:
- Fix turning off current location/track focus on screen rotation
- Track Search: Fix several issues with searching for tracks with the “Nearby” or “In Current Map Region” filters.
- Track Search: Improve reliability of indexing tracks
- Track Export: GPX/KML files should now offer to open in other apps that read those file formats.
- Live Activity: Fix text truncation issues with duration and average speed
- Track Details: Fix the chart losing its state if the map is zoomed to full-screen.
- Fix distance/status icon layout in Dynamic Island expanded status
- Other minor bug fixes
